Workgroup Biomathematics
FLI Insel Riems
The biomathematics working group is a common scientific service institution of the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute. It provides interdisciplinary support on issues of mathematical and computational biology to the individual FLI institutes. It supports the exchange of information and experience in this field across sites. The group performs own scientific investigations on fundamentals and applications of biomathematics, also in cooperation with external partners. A member of the biomathematics working group acts as biometrics officer of the FLI.

- Consulting and support in statistical design and evaluation of studies
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary scientific studies
- Coordination of biomathematical cooperation between sites
- Support of continuing training in biometrics
