registered association at the district court Greifswald under No. VR 0729 dd. 26. 10. 2001

The society of friends of the FLI is a non-profit association with domicile on the island of Riems which is dedicated to support the FLI in the fulfillment of its tasks in the field of research on infectious animal diseases as defined in the institute’s statutes.

The Executive Committee of the Society of Friends of the FLI consists of three members:

the Chairman, Dr. Gerfried Zeller,
the Vice-Chairwoman, Dr. Gabriele Schagemann and
the Treasurer, Dr. Birgit Laber-Probst.

Executive Director is the President of the FLI:

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Thomas C. Mettenleiter.
