Experimental facilities

To achieve our research responsibilities there are especially therefore build facilities in the institute:

• The feed mill to produce feed for all experiments in nutrition, including

• one hammer mill

• two mixing lines

• two pelleting plants

• technique to produce pre mixtures

• storage bins for approximately 400 t raw materials

• storage for complete feed (8 silos, altogether 2 t)

• The experimental centre

• including possibilities to make balance trials with pigs, sheep and poultry

• operating room

• The slaughterhouse with potentiality for experimentally slaughtering of cattle and pork
